Description:

The selected person will join the Cell-type mechanisms in normal and pathological behavior research group (Neurosciences research program).

Task:

Technician position in the Cell-type mechanisms in normal and pathological behaviour, led by Dr. Arnau Busquets. The main aim of the laboratory is to establish cell type-specific mechanistic frames by using mouse models to determine complex physiological or pathological behavioural responses. Our objective is to further dissect the detailed molecular, cellular and behavioural mechanisms that can explain complex behaviours, such as advanced cognitive functions and complex social interactions.

Formation:

Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy or similar. Title of animal experimentation.

Experience:

Experience in animal experimentation with mice. Experience in programming (Python). Experience in behavioural (cognitive tasks in mica) and molecular laboratory techniques (western blot, RT-PCR, immunohistochemistry, genotyping, etc.).

Knowledge:

High level of English. High level in programs like Python.
