Description:

The selected person will join the Health services research group (Epidemiology and public health research program).

Task:

Data management (data cleaning and quality control) as well as harmonization and interoperability tasks using structured registry healthcare data; Data analysis tasks: suicide attempt case validation, identification of adverse mental health treatment trajectories.

Formation:

Degree in Mathematics and/or Statistics, or equivalent.

Experience:

Expertise in any of the following tasks: data management, harmonization, and interoperability tasks (e.g., of healthcare registry data), analysis of (healthcare registry) data. Formal training in both Mathematics and Statistics is appreciated. Previous experience with predictive modeling and model selection techniques is appreciated. We also appreciate academic experience (e.g., postdoctoral experience, teaching experience), including academic output in the field of Mathematics, Statistics, and/or general research methodology.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of statistical software packages (e.g., R, Python) is an asset. Good communication and organizational skills are essential in our team. Knowledge of Catalan, Spanish, and English is appreciated.
