Dr. Ester Marco is the new editor-in-chief of Rehabilitación journal

The researcher from the Rehabilitation Research Group will lead the editorial process of this publication, the communication organ of the Spanish Society of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine.

The researcher from the Rehabilitation Research Group and head of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Hospital del Mar, Dr. Ester Marco, has been, since September 1st, the new editor-in-chief of Rehabilitación journal, founded in 1956 and the communication organ of the Sociedad Española de Rehabilitación y Medicina Física (SERMEF). She will be responsible for all stages of the editorial process, selecting articles, managing and coordinating the editorial team, assigning reviewers and associate editors. She will also oversee quality control, as well as the promotion of the journal, ensuring ethical and legal standards.

The Rehabilitación journal has recently been included in the Web of Science (WOS), the most important catalog of scientific journals, which calculates the impact factor and compiles the Journal of Citation Report. The inclusion in the WOS has been made possible by the increase in the quality of the works published in the journal, as well as the growth of scientific activity in rehabilitation.
