Description:

The selected person will join the Neuroimaging of mental disorders research group (Neurosciences research program).

Task:

• Develop computational models and simulations to study the dynamics of human moral decision-making. • Design experiments and analyze empirical data to validate and refine the models. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate insights from psychology, neuroscience, and ethics into the models. • Conduct parameter optimization and sensitivity analysis to explore the robustness of the models. • Publish research findings in high-impact scientific journals and present at conferences. • Mentor graduate and undergraduate students involved in the research projects. • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in computational modeling and moral psychology.

Formation:

• PhD in mathematics, physics, computer science, cognitive science, computational neuroscience, or a related field with a strong quantitative focus.

Experience:

• Experience with agent-based modeling, dynamical systems, or similar modeling approaches. • Track record of publications in reputable scientific journals. • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team. • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Knowledge:

• Strong background in mathematical modeling, computational simulations, and programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or similar). • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization.
