Formation and consolidation of memory in humans (MemForm) (PID2022-137527NB-I00)

Neural mechanisms of perception and memory research group

Description:

The selected person will join the Neural mechanisms of perception and memory research group (Neurosciences research program).

Task:

Recording, analysis and modeling of neuron activity in the human hippocampus. Differentiation through questionnaires and analysis of neural recordings between episodic and semantic memory. Exploration of the neural codes underlying the coding of categorizations and semantic relations in the temporal pole and the hippocampus.

Formation:

PhD in Clinical Neurosciences.

Experience:

We are looking for candidates with a minimum previous experience in the described tasks and with experience in neuroscience and neurophysiology.

Knowledge:

High level of English. Programming and data analysis: MATLAB or similar.
