Description:

The selected person will join the Cell-type mechanisms in normal and pathological behavior research group (Neurosciences research program).

Task:

Completion of the doctoral thesis. Technician in Cell type mechanisms in normal and pathological behavior. The main goal of the laboratory is to establish cell type-specific mechanistic frameworks by using mouse models to determine complex physiological or pathological behavioral responses. Our goal is to further dissect detailed molecular, cellular and behavioral mechanisms that can explain complex behaviors such as advanced cognitive functions and complex social interactions.

Formation:

Master in neuroscience. Degree in animal experimentation.

Experience:

Experience in animal experimentation with mice (higher-order conditioning paradigms, PPI, etc). Experience in programming (Python). Experience in behavioral (cognitive tasks) and molecular laboratory techniques (western blot, RT-PCR, immunohistochemistry, genotyping, etc.).

Knowledge:

High level of English. High level in programs such as Python.

A letter of admission to the doctoral program must be presented.
