Evolution of non-canonical peptides and their role as neoantigens in cancer (PID2021-122726NB-I00)

Description:

The selected person will join the Evolutionary genomics research group (Biomedical informatics research program).

Task:

Analysis of whole exome sequencing (WES) data to identify mutations in tumors. Analysis of RNA sequencing (RNA-Seq) data to quantify gene expression in tumors. Analysis of immunopeptidomics data to identify peptides bond to HLA receptors in tumors. Identification of biomarkers of the response to immunotherapy.

Formation:

Degree in Biomedical Sciences.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years experience in the analysis of sequencing data and bioinformatics.

Knowledge:

Theoretical knowledge of the field of immunotherapy and cancer. Previous experience in the use of software to identify mutations using WES data. Previous experience in the use of software to analyse immunopeptidomics data. Advanced level in the use of the R statistical package. Advanced level in written and spoken English.
