Project title:

Analysis of doping control in athletes and animals in the 2024-2025 competitions

Research group / Service:

Description:

The selected person will join the Doping control research group (Neurosciences research program).

Task:

Development of analytical methodologies for the analysis of doping agents and their metabolites in biological samples by chromatographic techniques coupled to mass spectrometry, or electrophoretic techniques. Validation of analytical methods and preparation of validation reports. Analysis of anti-doping control samples and drafting and updating of standard operating procedures. Participation in research and development projects.

Formation:

Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent qualification. Possession of a master's degree will be an advantage, preferably in analytical chemistry or in an analytical laboratory.

Experience:

Experience of 2 years (minimum) in the use of chromatographic techniques coupled to mass spectrometry, or in the use of electrophoretic techniques. Experience in working in a laboratory accredited according to ISO17025 or similar.

Knowledge:

Knowlegge on metabolism of drugs. Advanced level of English and computer tools.

Additional information:

Participation in reserach and development projects. The salary may be adjusted depending on the value of the candidate.
