Project title:

Development of an AI framework for predicting ligand function and variant impact in GPCRs

Description:

The selected person will join the GPCR Drug Discovery research group (Biomedical informatics research program).

Task:

Management of the GPCRmd web server: Overseeing all aspects of the web server's administration, including database updates, server maintenance, and providing user support to ensure smooth operation and accessibility. Development of new analysis tools: Designing and implementing innovative tools to advance GPCR research, such as incorporating water molecules into models and other enhancements that facilitate data interpretation. Generation and integration of new MD data: Producing new molecular dynamics (MD) data related to GPCRs, such as potential predicted dimers, and automating the processing and integration of this data into the web server for efficient accessibility and analysis.

Formation:

PhD in Bioinformatics.

Experience:

• Simulation and visualization software (Pymol, VMD and GROMACS), data analysis, python programming and database development. • Web server languages or programs like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flask and Apache, etc.

Knowledge:

• Knowledge in GPCR structural biology • Knowledge in machine learning and data science
