  • Dr. Benedikt L. Amann: He is director of the Research Unit of the Forum Center, Hospital del Mar Research Institute and Associate Professor at the Universitat Pompeu i Fabra. He is a psychiatrist and EMDR psychotherapist and coordinator of two Psychiatry Units of the Forum Center, Mental Institute of the Hospital del Mar.
  • Dr. Alicia Valiente: Doctor in Psychiatry from the University of Barcelona since 2016 and coordinator of the Research Unit at Centre Fòrum. Researcher at the Hospital del Mar Research Institute and researcher affiliated with CIBERSAM. Psychiatrist and EMDR psychotherapist at the Subacute Unit of Centre Fòrum.
  • Dra. Bridget Hogg: General health psychologist (Autonomous University of Barcelona, 2018), PhD in Psychiatry (Autonomous University of Barcelona, 2023), and EMDR therapist. She has been working in the unit for 6 years on projects related to psychological trauma and mental disorders and in European projects.
  • Dra. Ana Moreno-Alcázar: She holds a PhD in Psychology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and is a collaborating professor at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and the Master's Degree in Psychotherapy with EMDR at the National University of Distance Education (UNED).
  • Walter Lupo: He is a Clinical Psychologist. He completed postgraduate studies as a psychoanalyst and in brief psychotherapy orientations, family, cognitive behavioral, group and EMDR and Sensorimotor Therapy. EMDR Clinician and Consultant for EMDR Association EMDR Spain and Europe.
  • Amira Trabsa Biskri: She is a psychiatrist in the Acute Hospitalization Unit and the First Psychotic Episodes Program (PAE-TPI) at the Hospital del Mar. Associate Researcher at the Research Institute of the Hospital del Mar and attached to CIBERSAM, where she focuses her research efforts on psychosis, migration, trauma and intercultural competence.
  • Dr. Daniel Guinart Doctor in Psychiatry from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is a reference researcher of the Spanish Society of Psychiatry and Mental Health. His research focuses on public health and psychopharmacology of severe mental disorder, particularly schizophrenia, as well as the use and implementation of digital tools for symptom measurement, detailed characterization and treatment of patients with schizophrenia.
  • Cristina Macias: Specialist in Clinical Psychology, expert in Clinical Neuropsychology, adjunct to the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Process of the Mental Health Institute at Hospital del Mar, and Technical Director of the Núria Mental Health Residence. Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Psychology at UAB.
  • Dra. Marta Martin Subero is a specialist in psychiatry at the Hospital del Mar. He combines his clinical work with research work in the Forum Research Unit. His areas of interest are the neurobiology of schizophrenia and other severe mental disorders with special focus on resistant pathologies and the use of clozapine.
  • Marta Fontana McNally: is a general health psychologist from the University of Barcelona and has a master's degree in Initiation to Research in Mental Health (CIBERSAM). She has been involved in the European project MENT-UP funded by EU-Horizon Europe and is currently working on her doctoral thesis at the unit.
  • Oscar Royuela: He is a general health psychologist and has a master's degree in neurosciences and another in Neuropsychology at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). He is currently completing his doctoral studies in Psychiatry at the UAB in the unit.
  • Daniela Gatto: Psychiatrist and psychotherapist in DBT and EMDR. Currently finishing her master's degree in Neuropsychopharmacology at the University of Favaloro, Argentina. Participates in the development of the MENTBEST Project funded by EU-Horizon Europe.
  • Cristina de Córdoba: She is a psychologist graduated from Blanquerna - Universitat Ramon Llull in 2019.  She studied the Màster General Sanitari in 2022 (Universitat de Barcelona) and the Master in Contextual Therapies in 2023 (ACT Institute).
  • Helena Pardina Torner: She is a general health psychologist and PhD student in Biomedicine in the Diffusion MRI and Brain Connectivity group at the Hospital de Bellvitge (Research Unit of the UB). She is currently participating in the development of the European project PROSPERH with funding from EU-Horizon Europe.
  • Juan Ramón Castaño: Psychiatrist and psychotherapist. Master's in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. His main field of interest is chronic pain and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
  • Carlos Campos Rodríguez: Graduated in psychology and has a master's in research in behavior and cognition from the University of Barcelona (UB). Currently participating in the development of the European project PROSPERH with funding from EU-Horizon Europe, and he plans to start his PhD within this same project.
